Partially the coastline belongs to the territory of hotels and sanatoriums, however, even in this case, the entrance is rarely completely restricted for outsiders, but you will have to pay for it. Golden Sands

Dunes
It is considered the outskirts of the town of Sozopol. The length is about 5 kilometers, the width is up to 100 meters. Part of the territory is lined with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is a huge pool just behind the beach, there is a smaller pool on the west side and a chain of hotel complexes to which they belong. It smoothly turns into a not very well-equipped area: it is clean, but there are no beach accessories, including those for rent.
South Beach of Nessebar
Located in one of the oldest towns in Bulgaria. Narrow beach: up to 40 meters wide. Covering - light sand. Rescuers are working on the shore. There are two zones: paid and free. There are waves on the sea, with strong waves it is forbidden to swim. The building is close to the water. Little greenery, you can hide from the heat only under umbrellas. Kara-Dere

Butamyata (Sinemorets)
Small in length, but wide. Located in a bay, sheltered from strong winds. However, there are waves - suitable for beginner surfers. Part of the territory is lined with umbrellas and sun loungers, they are rented out. Covering - yellowish sand. Shallow water stretches for several tens of meters. On the sides it is surrounded by rocky ledges. A forest belt begins behind the beach, and then further - residential and hotel buildings.
Sozopol central beach
Located in the bay between the Old and New Towns. The coastal strip is narrow. There are almost no waves. Small sea creatures are found in clear water. The sand is fine. Slightly darker than the neighbors. The entrance to the water is smooth, shallow water. Restaurants and cafes a few meters from the established sun loungers, there are also private vendors with ice cream, water and sweets. There is practically no entertainment on the shore.
Smokini
Long and wide enough. Covering - white fine sand. Entertainment: slides and water attractions located right in the sea, volleyball, boating or banana boat rides, snorkelling, underwater fishing. Goldfish (Sozopol)
Located close to the popular campsite of the same name. It is almost always windy. There is a surf school and offers for renting boards. The entrance is paid, but inexpensive. There are cafes right on the shore. There are rides for all ages. The infrastructure is more modest than on other beaches in the city. The required minimum is toilets, cubicles, showers, umbrellas and sun loungers.
Harmanite (Sozopol)
Fairly long, but not wide. The building is close to the sand. The entrance to the central part is paid, only small areas on both sides of the beach are free. A little further nudists are located. The water is almost always clean; in windy weather, a small amount of algae floats in it. Currents are felt near the coast, but rather shallow. Suitable for both children and windsurfers.
Eastern and central beaches in Pomorie
The eastern beach is very clean and includes a security zone. Long and popular. Part of the territory is filled with sun loungers, my friend - for free accommodation, there are sports events and parties. On Central, there are two shades of sand: dark and gold. On the sides are rocky areas. Not very suitable for children: only shallow water near the coast, strong waves rise.
Varna Central Beach

It is considered more comfortable. Less waves, water a couple of degrees warmer. Northern windy. Suitable for surfing. Length - about 2 kilometers. There are secluded corners on the outskirts. The sand is coarse. The water is more transparent than in the South.
Shkorpilovtsi beach
The longest in Bulgaria - about 13 kilometers. Part of the territory is practically wild, there are also places for camping. The tourist infrastructure is poorly developed even in the most popular beach areas. It differs from its neighbors in that it attracts guests outside the holiday season: mineral springs are located nearby. Forests and rocks in some areas come directly to the water. Algae is washed on the sand, but there is almost no debris.
Kamchia
It is located near the mouth of the river of the same name. Despite the fact that the region is famous for forests, valleys and microclimate, the beach is not so popular with vacationers. The length is 2.5 kilometers, the width is up to 100 meters. The sand is clean, white. Tourists prefer to swim farther from the estuary in order to avoid eddies and changes in depth. On the north side there are rocks, from any point a view of dense forests opens up. There is no infrastructure.
Bolata
Located in the bay of the same name. On the sides there are rocky ledges and small mountains. The opposite side from the sea is a sprawling green valley. The sand is white and clean. There is everything you need for relaxation on the shore. There are no hotels nearby, but there are archaeological sites. There is shallow water inside the bay. Then the depths, chosen by divers, begin. Entertainment: walks, boating, outdoor games.
New beach on Sveti Vlas
Divided into paid and free zones. The first has sun loungers and umbrellas, there is no free space for your beach equipment. In the second - complete freedom, but crowded. They are separated by a low stone wall extending into the sea. Most of the season is windy. Surfers and windsurfers are frequent visitors to the beach. Infrastructure: cafe, lifeguard tower, rental points, volleyball court, etc.
St. Constantine and Helena Beach
Refers to the resort of the same name. The beach is narrow, the sand is gray. Admission is free, a fee is charged for the use of sun loungers installed on the shore. The coast is winding. There is a division into zones depending on the belonging of the territory to the hotels: "Grand Hotel Varna", "Sirius Beach", "Azalia". There are no particular differences between them, only the bottom of the latter near the very shore is covered with stones, not sand.
Irakli
It is located on the territory of a nature reserve park. There is practically no tourist infrastructure here - the land is protected by the state. Access to the coastline is free. At some distance there is a paid parking lot for cars. Dense forests come close to the water. The beach is narrow and long. From the required minimum: rental of sun loungers, mobile cafes, changing cabins, zones for sports games, designated conventionally.
Atliman
Located in the town of Kiten. Because of its position, it bears another name - Northern. The bay to which it belongs is sheltered from the winds. The environment of rocks creates an additional barrier to the gusty currents of cool air. The main entertainments of the beach are connected with the Zangador restaurant: in the daytime you can have a bite to eat, and in the evening you can dance.
Central beach of Burgas
Located near the Marine Park. Medium in length, the width in some areas reaches 100 meters. Sand with impurities, which is why it has a dark color. The water is light, almost transparent. The territory is divided into zones: there are two areas with sun loungers, a sector for sports fields, places for tents and a cafe. Entertainment: water attractions, trampoline jumping, children's playground and more.
Arkutino
Located in the southern part of Bulgaria. Long and wide. White sand smoothly turns into dunes. A small part of the territory has been ennobled: there are sun loungers, a lifeguard tower, changing cabins, a toilet, and a mobile cafe. On both sides there is a wild beach, bordered by stone boulders. The sea is clean with frequent rising waves. There is little entertainment: water skiing, surfing, but there is no rental of boards.
Byala central beach
Closely approaches the hills covered with greenery. Long and not wide. The sand is light and the water has a deep blue color. There are no separate areas and sun loungers on the beach, but there is a rental service. Since the territory does not allow cafes and shops to turn around, you can buy water and snacks only from private merchants. Entertainment: water slides, banana rides, kite flying, table tennis.
Overview
The beaches are divided into three sections: north, central and south. The central one is wider than the rest and more crowded. This is where the differences end. The embankment stretches along the coast. There are areas with installed umbrellas. They are free, as is the entrance to the beach area. On the land side, the beach is framed by hills and dense thickets. There is little entertainment, catamaran rental offices work irregularly.
Krapets
Located a few kilometers from a major highway. Wild beach. Mobile cafes and rental offices appear periodically. The strip of white fine sand is long, but very narrow. There are many impurities of seashells and seagulls. A country road and green hills approach closely. The water is colored green due to algae. The winds are rising strong. Experienced surfers and windsurfers come here.
Ezerets
Located 3 kilometers from the village of the same name. The sand is light and coarse with shell particles and small stones. The length is great, but the width is not. There are no signs of civilization nearby. The place is considered environmentally friendly. There are two lakes nearby: Ezeretskoye and Shablenskoye. The first is unleavened. Getting there is not easy: there is no highway, and the local road is poorly passable in some sections.
