My review and photo walk in Bridgetown, the capital of the island of Barbados.

Cruise ship log. Thirteenth day.

Land! Arrived in Barbados. Frankly, even six days at sea were more interesting than a day on this Caribbean island.

It's boring here! This island is of coral, not volcanic origin, and therefore it is flat, like a board, there are no mountains or volcanoes here, and nature was notably crushed by people - in fact, the whole island is built up, and built up, of course, tasteless and untidy.

People, as is customary in such places, are mostly loafers. They do not differ in friendliness and smile, but they do not show aggression either. Alas, they don't like the camera, because they believe that it steals their souls, so it didn't work out to make interesting and vivid pictures. They speak English, but not a damn thing. By the way, this is my first English-speaking country. Shakespeare would have known that travelers of the future would become familiar with his language in such a noisy place!

We limited ourselves to a walk around the capital - Bridgetown. In general, there is nowhere else to go. We walked around the city, looked at people, streets, houses, markets. The capital is an ugly and neglected city, sheer huts and shops with terrible rubbish. But there is a colonial legacy! But what did they do to him? That's right - fucked up! At the end of the walk, we looked at the beach, where we drank a bottle of Caribbean beer, and returned to the liner.

As a result, two records were broken in this country at once: this is our shortest (3 hours) and the most budgetary ($ 3 for beer) visit to a separate state.

Taking advantage of the fact that our brothers on the cruise were loitering on the shore, we decided to rest on a half-empty liner. For the first time in 13 days of sailing, they plunged their loins into the bubbling waters of the jacuzzi, and I also moved down the water slide - for the first time in my life, by the way. 0.33 beer for two, a slide and a jacuzzi - well, they plunged straight into the abyss of unbridled fun in this Barbados. But don't laugh, we still have a retirement cruise.
