Getting ready for my first cruise, I knew that I would like it. I not only liked it, I was delighted! Find out why cruises are so good and why you should go on them.

1. Relax properly

A cruise is a rest from all the affairs and worries.

If you plow like a galley slave, believe me, you will truly relax on the liner. On a cruise, you don't have to think about anything, do nothing, or worry about anything. Your only concern in the morning will be deciding how to have fun today. A pleasant atmosphere reigns on sea cruises, people are relaxed, cheerful, happy.

2. Breathe

Even in many resorts, you can face the problem of gassed air. And what can we say about the cities where we live! I hate breathing dust and exhaust fumes so much that I left my beloved city, St. Petersburg, because of this problem. Rest assured, on a cruise, you will forget what bad air is.

3. Reboot

With the right attitude on a cruise, you will leave all your problems and worries somewhere very far away. And the lack of the Internet will help you with this. Of course, it is on board the liner, but this service costs space money. This is a great reason to forget about the Internet and social networks for a week or two. I strongly advise you to do just that. Finally take a break from the Internet.

4. Feel like a gourmet

The food on cruise ships is incredible. Great restaurants and interesting cuisine await you. For example, Costa delights in the fact that every evening for dinner it pampers guests with cuisine from different regions of Italy. Tasting all these fabulous dishes on land will be tricky, so enjoy!

5. Meet

Meeting new people is one of the reasons why people go on a cruise. It's really easy to make acquaintances on the liner. However, if you, like us, are introverts, you can do without it - no one will impose your company.

6. Explore the world

The great thing about the cruise is that it gives you the opportunity to visit new cities and countries, many of which are expensive and difficult to travel to on your own. For 16 days of the cruise, I visited Marseille, Barcelona, Tenerife, Barbados, Martinique, Guadeloupe and ended up in the Dominican Republic - a rich catch, isn't it?

7. Try new things

A sea voyage is an unusual, interesting and incredibly pleasant format. I have traveled half the world on airplanes, trains, cars, motorcycles, bicycles and it is difficult to surprise me, but the cruise was able to present new impressions. Sorry for the pun, but I got a lot of pleasure from my sea voyages.

8. Pay little

A cruise is not expensive at all. Especially considering how much you spend and how much you get, this is an extremely beneficial ratio.

Our cruise across the ocean from Europe to America cost only 40 € per day per person! For this money, we lived in a comfortable room, we were fed like kings, we visited a bunch of cities, countries and islands, had access to swimming pools, a fitness room, a sauna, a theater and bars with live music. And all this for 40 € per day.

Do you still think cruising is expensive?

9. Forget about insects

Few people like mosquitoes, cockroaches, flies, especially if they carry diseases like malaria, fever and other dangerous nasty things. Well, for me this is a particularly painful topic - I was not lucky twice: I attract blood-sucking insects like a magnet, and I am allergic to their bites. Therefore, in all the resorts of the world, no matter how heavenly they are, I suffer wildly from these creatures. A cruise is almost the only place where you can forget about insects and relax in peace.
